Frequent Flyer miles may be used -- timing of arrivals & departures to be coordinated with BellaVista Tours.  BellaVista will advise us of the airline fare options from our home city and will book them for us.

 SAMPLE EGYPT/JORDAN ITINERARY

Day 1 -- Depart from U.S.

Day 2 -- Arrive at Cairo Airport and met by English-speaking tour manager.  You will be transferred to your 5* hotel (Movenpick Pyramaids Resort or similar).   Old Cairo tour in the afternoon, sound and light show at pyramids.

Day 3 -- After breakfast you will enjoy a full-day sightseeing excursion with our English-speaking Egyptologist who will explain the pyramids, the Sphinx, the step pyramid at Sakkara and Memphis.  Advance reservation to go inside the Great Pyramid is included.  Lunch included.  Return to hotel.  Egyptian dinner at restaurant in Cairo.

Day 4 -- Today you will have a full day of sightseeing with Egyptologist of the Egyptian Museum, Citadel of Salah Al-Din, Alabaster Mosque of Mohamed Ali and bazaar.  At the Egyptian Museum you'll see the beautiful gold mask of King Tutenkhamun and his sarcophagus and other treasures from his tomb unearthed in Luxor.  Lunch included.  There will be time for some last-minute shopping while at the bazaar.

Day 5 -- After an early breakfast (very early) you'll be transferred to the Cairo Airport for your flight to Aswan where you'll be transferred to your hotel.  Dinner included.

Optional Tour:  Abu Simbel 3-hour excursion with flight to view the temples that were moved due to construction of the High Dam.

Day 6 -- Free day in Aswan

Day 7, 8, 9 -- This morning you will be transferred to your 5* Nile cruise boat.  Your "floating hotel" for the next three nights will cruise between Aswan and Luxor and includes all meals (excluding beverages) and all guided sightseeing of Philae Temple, Aswan High Dam, Kom Ombo and Edfu Temples, Luxor and Karnak Temples which are located on the east bank of Luxor, the west bank of Luxor which includes Hatshepsut's Temple, Colossi of Memnon, Valley of the Kings (includes three tombs).  Activities on the boat include an Egyptian dress-up night, afternoon tea and captain's party.

Day 9 -- Upon disembarking your Nile cruise boat you will be transferred to a superior 4* hotel in Luxor where you will stay one more night to complete all your sightseeing this afternoon in a more leisurely fashion and explore the town of Luxor.

Days 10, 11, 12 -- Today you will have most of the day on your own to explore more of Luxor, including a felucca boat ride.  In the late afternoon you will be transferred to Luxor airport for your Egyptair domestic flight departing to the beach resort on the Red Sea.  Upon arrival you will be transferred to your 5* hotel where you will stay for three nights.  Free time on your own. 

Optional tour from Red Sea Resort:  Climb Mt. Sinai and visit St. Catherine's Monastery, departing at 10 p.m. for three-hour drive and then walking up Mt. Sinai by sunrise.

Day 13 -- High speed catamaran to Aqaba.  Transfer from Aqaba port to Petra.  Check into 5* hotel, sightseeing of Petra with local guide.

Day 14 -- Either jeep ride in Petra or sightseeing in Jerash, travel to Dead Sea for swim and dinner.  Leave for flight home which leaves after midnight.
